A Church Serving Kewaunee

Come and See

When John’s own disciples heard him point to Jesus, Jesus invited them with those three words. We’re glad to say them to you. Join us Sundays at 8:30 AM in Algoma.

An Invitation from the Pastor

At every worship service, Jesus Christ is present with us and transforms sinners into saints and makes the dead to live eternally. Those are nothing short of miracles. I invite you to come and experience that at a worship service at St. John's.

Pastor Christopher Jackson

Headshet of Pastor Chris Jackson of St. John's Lutheran Church in Algoma, Wisconsin. He wears a black clerical shirt and suit jacket in front of a grey background.

A Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod Church for Kewaunee

The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) is a denomination that confesses the historic, orthodox Christian faith, a faith built on “the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone” (Eph. 2:20). The LCMS, headquartered in St. Louis, Mo., is mission-oriented and Bible-based. LCMS doctrine reflects the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther, as summarized in The Book of Concord: The Confessions of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Kewaunee, Wisconsin, is a close-knit lakeshore community on the western shore of Lake Michigan, about 25 miles east of Green Bay. Kewaunee blends small-town charm with natural beauty, from its working harbor and the historic Kewaunee Pierhead Lighthouse to the rolling farmland that surrounds it. Fishing, boating, and walks along the water bring residents and visitors alike to the lakefront. St. John's Lutheran meets about 15 minutes north in Algoma, but we welcome the opportunity to connect with people from Kewaunee and communities throughout Kewaunee County and the greater Green Bay area. If you live in Kewaunee, hop on WI-42 to drive on up and join us! We'd be so happy to welcome you.
